Sustaining the Williams Valley Inc (SWV Inc) has been regenerating the riparian zone on the Williams River at Frank Robinson Reserve since 2017. Initial funding was sourced from Hunter Water in 2018 and further funds were received from the Greater Bank in 2021 to plant 5,000 trees/shrubs at the site. Over the last five years the site has been maintained by volunteers with some professional help from contractors when use of herbicide was required. Despite many setbacks, drought, floods and errant council works the site has established well and now has a diverse range of species.
